November will be here before we know it and I wanted to share some ideas to help build your class community. Building a strong, inviting, risk free class community has always been a crucial part of my school year. Building those lasting relationships has always been important to me.
November is a great time to reflect on all the things we are grateful for, it can also be a time where behavior challenges may arise as well. The honeymoon period of Back to School is long gone and Christmas isn’t too far off.
Turkey ‘rific’ behavior Incentive
I LOVE my monthly behavior bites and if you have never tried them NOW is the time! Each class behavior incentive reward comes with a bulletin board if you choose to use it. Depending on the space you have available in your classroom you may just use the cute turkey on your white board with feathers. These are editable so you can type whatever class ‘goal’ you have on the feathers and they earn feathers to complete their reward.
Build the entire turkey or just focus on the feather goals. Then, based on the needs of your classroom type what you are hoping to see from them onto the feathers. They can earn feathers for behaving at PE, working hard at centers etc. Then, you choose the reward – lunch with the teacher, popcorn party whatever works for you. These are so great because they can easily work to fit your class or school needs.
If you love this you may really find my monthly BUNDLE pack even more useful!
Class or School Gratitude Challenge
This pack has everything you need to create an EDITALE thankful or gratitude challenge. Daily activities are included that can be hung on a bulletin board, stuck to a white board or even pulled from a jar. I’ve included several options to make this personalized to what you may need.
This challenge includes bulletin board letters, daily challenges, thank you cards and more. Encourage your student to focus on what they are thankful for this November by participating in this challenge.

I hope these ideas are timely and something you can implement to make your life a little easier!
