leprechaun handprint craft

March 7, 2012

leprechaun handprint art

So yesterday my mom wonderful mom helper painted my sweet firsties hands to do this cute leprechaun craft.  I added some lucky writing and I’m all set.  I added some raffia – raffia just makes anything look cuter. LOL

Here are some other fun things:  pointers for reading groups.  The word detectives are pipe cleaners shaped like magnifying glasses.  We look for vocab or sight words during our picture walk and I can quickly see who can find/read them.  One of my students shaped some of them into hearts though. ( silly girl )

Now off to P90X 2 — it’s calling my name.(sort of) LOL

I love using different reading pointers. I always check the $1 bins at Target and craft stores for holiday themed stir sticks. They work great!

Thanks for leaving me blushing tonight with your sweet words. They were such a pick-me-up and couldn't have come at a better time.

Hope you have a great nights sleep.

Way to go with the P90x! I recently posted about fitness and the lack of time for it in this all-consuming job. I started boot camp last week and am truly feeling the effects of the intensity by 1pm! I'm cheering you on!!
