I’m linking on up with Tara at 4th grade frolics for Made it Monday!!! I have been busy lately creating products… { club volleyball starts up again officially in November – so even though she’s training I feel like I have a little extra time. Also I made a cute little button M for our last name: Moore.
So here’s the deal…
Buy a pretty frame from Hobby Lobby or your favorite craft store…then some nice paper. I like the French chic look so I purchased vintage looking paper with handwriting script on it. Then I purchased brightly colored buttons because I really wanted it to stand out.
First
Cut the pretty scrapbook paper to size.
Then write your last name letter if that’s what you are choosing to use in pencil in the size and font or script you want right on the paper. It may take a few tries to get it just right.
Next you can start gluing the buttons right down on those pencil lines…I used Aleene’s Glue.
You can even use sandpaper to sand down the edges of your frame if you want a more vintage look to it.
Now you have a beautiful little accent piece to put anywhere in your home…I lean it against some other pieces and display it on a crown moulding shelf.
There you have it…doesn’t it look nice with other pieces?
Give it a try!!! Here are some teacher related projects I have been working on too:

Whew! That’s it friends…I have had a busy month…some of these I started in the summer and finally finished up. Enjoy!
If you want to link on up: Here’s the 411 ~~
