Thanks for playing along…

April 11, 2012

Hi everyone!  It’s raining here in Southern Cal…we haven’t had much rain this year.  It sounds nice but… I always kinda dread the work day.  Since it’s so uncommon the kiddos get rainy weird/hyper if that makes sense. :o/

Anyway the answer to the question is: SWIMMER!  I was a competitive swimmer and had the opportunity to travel all over the country growing up.  Some of my claims to fame were: beating Janet Evans a few times and breaking a record of Dara Torres.  Now I lap swim with a bunch of washed up older people.. totally kidding…people just like me.  LOL and I still love it very much.  I loved all your guesses though.

Here’s our winner:

congrats Lori – good guess!

I hope you all had fun playing along…it’s fun getting to know each other better.  Some of your guesses were so creative. :o)

Sorry I missed out, you look like a runner 🙂 I love the rain, as long as I'm home, and I AM! Anyways, I just checked out your class site, great ideas!

I soooo know what you mean about the kiddos being rainy/weird. Every time there is a change in the weather, and where I teach there are many changes, my little darlin's do the same thing — Ugh!!

    Hi Vicky!

I'm so glad that you found my blog so that I could start following yours! I just love your ideas!!! Your jellyfish and killer whales are absolutely darling!

On another note… I am a swimmer too!!!! I started swimming competitively at the age of 6 and continued all the way until I started college. I still love swimming and try to jump in the water every chance I get. Kudos to you for your dedication!
