I love working on adjectives in October! One of my favorite activities is to write on a pumpkin with a sharpie all the adjectives my students can think of that relate to pumpkins. Sticky, orange, plump, round etc. Then we leave that pumpkin in our room all month as a decoration!
Lay out pumpkins with letters or sight words to practice automaticity and find a wind up toy. I use a Frankenstein from the Dollar Tree. Wherever he stops your students have to read the word or say the letter/sound. SO much ‘Franken Fun’!
Happy Halloween and enjoy!
