Journal Rubrics and a….GIVEAWAY

October 1, 2012

I am trying SOOOO hard to get around to check journals between reading groups…and believe me with 29 kids it’s no easy task.  However I really want to give them immediate, semi quick feedback.  I created a freebie that you can use if you’d like – it looks something like this.  Click first picture below for link.

Here is a picture of it in action stapled to one of my firsties journal pages.

Can you tell I’m in a total hurry between groups – done quickly and moving onto the next one. :o)

I hope it’s helpful to you and you are able to use it as well.  Also I have to tell you about an amazing giveaway that I’m lucky enough to be a part of with other very talented TPTers.

Head on over to Creation Castle and enter the rafflecopter to win BIG!

BTW

**TPT** is not allowing uploads at the moment — so visit back and click on the first picture above for the link for the freebie tomorrow.   { all loaded now :o) }

Goodnight all! { well not really – LOL just moving onto laundry and Amazing Race }

    I love your journal rubrics. Great way to give feedback! I have let my journals slide here lately and I need to get back to them.

    Thank you for the freebie and the sweet comment you left on my blog. I am still trying to figure out how to reply to a comment post.

    Thank you so much for sharing these-hard to find ready-made rubrics for the little ones. It would be very easy for them to understand. 🙂

    I made something like this that prints on sticker labels, and I cannot get over how much easier it makes things! Definitely try that out if the stapling gets to be a pain 🙂

    Hi jenny
    Thanks for the tip…I should know better. When I taught 3rd I had pre made rubrics for writing on labels that I pulled off and stuck right on their work for grading. Thanks for the reminder. :oD
