I had back to school night last week and always love getting to know the parents better…but don’t always love speaking in front of them. This is what was on their desks.
A note for the parents to write to their child which they can read the next day when they come in…or just look at if they are not readers yet { LOL }, their first day picture, a lottery ticket for showing up ( I drew several names the next day ) for a prize, a magnet with my ‘bee’ mail on it and letter.
The parents always seem to appreciate having this- easy access to my email. You can purchase the magnets at STAPLES they come with a sticky back. Print out the size using labels of whatever you want and place it on the magnet’s sticky side.
**I have bundled my long vowel unit** – they are available here.
Here are some anchor charts I made from my vowel pack – original poems that I wrote for each vowel.
Also we were busy this past week and a 1/2 with all sorts of fun things. Here is a what makes a good teacher anchor chart we did too.
Don’t forget about my giveaway going on for a few more days!
