I have no excuses… I really don’t. I’m never late ~ seriously I’m a bit OCD about the whole late thing. I arrive early everywhere and just wait in my car because I HATE being late. So when I was so exhausted from being a TAXI mom Friday night I just didn’t have it in me…then I wondered should I just not do 5 for Friday because of the whole lateness problem…see what I mean?!? I have a bit of a problem…but I want to get over it so I can share my week with all of you wonderful people!
So I started the week off with becoming a grandparent…LOL to an egg! My son’s homework last week was to do the laundry – Whoo- Hoo! I’m loving middle school electives right now. This week he has had to take care of baby ‘Jessica’. He even drew a sweet little curl on the top of her head….love the lips he drew…LOL ~~ So far so good. He turns her in Monday. He was cute making sure he took good care of her all week.
We had Patriot Day on 9/11 to remember the fallen. I found this red and blue maxi skirt over the summer and knew it would be perfect for this day. Our school even took a moment of silence right after flag salute.
I had lunch with this precious boy…his mom is very sick. Prayers for ‘J’ and his family please.
I finished this fun little pack…I’m obsessed with giraffe’s and guided reading so it seemed like the perfect match…if you want to check it out…click on the picture.
Lastly I’m loving my 7 new computers that my dad’s friend donated to my classroom. It’s perfect for my daily 5 rotation — so thankful. How was your week?!? Don’t forget to link on up and join in the fun.
I love your blog! Pink and turquoise are my favorite colors and I love chevron! ๐ "Jessica" is so cute! I love maxi skirts, too…great find! I will keep J and his family in my thoughts and prayers. I'm so glad you stopped by my blog and I can't wait to follow your school year! ๐

Dad's friend is VERY generous. How awesome is that!?!
Love those giraffes. Cute pack!
I HATE being late, too. I've never linked up with 5 for Friday for that VERY reason. I suppose I need to get over it, too.
Donations are awesome! Especially laptops. What lucky kids you have. I am going to check out your Guided Reading Guru now and say a prayer for J. Poor little guy. Thanks for sharing, Heather
Hey Vicky,
Looks like you had a great week!
